Do you provide any training?

We currently provide the following training which can be tailored to your needs;

Computers for the Terrified - Training provided on computer and software use, this can be tailored to suit your needs! For example focus can be put on powering up and navigating a computer, using programmes such as Outlook or Word, or searching the Internet. 

Finding the Evidence Training - This is training on how to search for evidence on multiple databases using search methods such as PICO, Boolean operators and concept breakdowns. This training can be tailored to a specific research focus to show how specific topics can be searched to return the most relevant results. 

We also provide access to resources which can help with the following;

Critical Appraisal Resources - These are a set of checklists and tutorial videos which will show how to critically appraise different types of evidence to ensure quality and relevance.
