If you work for or are on placement with Wirral Community Health and Care Trust your Library Service is provided by our Library & Knowledge Service Team.

We provide a range of facilities, services and support for all your clinical, managerial and academic needs and will provide support for you at a time and location convenient to you.

There is information on your Trust “Staff Zone” and  “Onboarding” websites

You can register for Library membership without visiting the Library

You can view the library catalogue.

You can receive material loans by post.

Using resources

Many electronic resources require you to have an NHS OpenAthens account.

 

Need help with literature searching?

We can provide:

an assisted search and show where and how to look, then you have the skills

a mediated search where we provide a synthesis of the best evidence for you

(not available for students)

 

We also have specialist services and if you want our services to come to you just ask. 

We offer “Pop Up” Library to your Trust or Department.

We offer Journal Clubs to your teams.

If you need access to information which is not in our library catalogue or electronically available to you. Use  our Document Supply service.
