A lifelong Wirral resident, born and brought up in Rock Ferry, Chris now represents the Ward on Wirral Council. He was educated locally at Rock Ferry High School and Birkenhead Sixth Form College. After several years working in the retail sector, Chris became a Trade Union representative for the GMB Union and continues to work for the Union. Chris has also worked in the community and voluntary sector and now devotes his time to his role as a Councillor.
Chris is looking forward to working as a Governor of Wirral University Teaching Hospital as we move forward into much closer working with partners in social care and the community and voluntary sector. He believes that the opportunity of ‘Place’ provides exciting opportunities for innovative integrated services that will greatly benefit local people.
