The Big Switch On
For the third year running Stewart Milne Homes have donated Christmas trees for both Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge sites, which will help bring joy to our staff and patients during the festive season.
The official light switch on at Arrowe Park took place on 29th November. Children from Woodchurch Primary School Choir performed carols, while WUTH staff and representatives from Stewart Milne Homes officially switched on the lights.
Lynne Vogel, senior sales manager at Stewart Milne Homes, said: “We are passionate about supporting communities near our developments and we’re more than happy to make this Christmas donation once again to Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge hospitals.
“Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust works tirelessly to treat patients throughout the year and hopefully these trees will help spread some festive joy to everyone spending time in both hospitals over the holidays.”
Victoria Burrows, Head of Fundraising and organiser of the event said: “We would like to thank Stuart Milne Homes and all WUTH Charity supporters this Christmas. All donations help to improve patient comforts and enhance patient care. A special thanks to the Children of Woodchurch CofE school for such a lovely performance.
“Being in hospital over the festive period can be difficult for patients and their families, so we try to make the experience as pleasant as possible. These beautiful trees will be displayed at our hospital entrances throughout the holidays, welcoming everyone who passes through our doors.”
