After qualifying as a doctor, post-graduation, and super specialty training in India moved to the UK in 2001 for further training; initially trained at Alder Hey and then worked at London hospitals, presently working as a consultant CT surgeon at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, involved with various NHS managerial and leadership roles locally and regionally, Trustee for the Society for CT Surgeons, teacher trainer, and examiner in CT surgery nationally.

I have lived in Wirral Since 2003, initially in Arrowe Park Hospital accommodation and subsequently in Upton, have been involved with the community, and a public member of my GP surgery and WUTH since the inception of the foundation program.
