We’re inviting applications from WUTH staff for grant funding at various times throughout the year. If you have an idea that could enhance patient care, upgrade equipment, or improve facilities, now is the perfect time to apply!
Upcoming Grant Rounds
📅 2 – 28 February 2025 – Arrowe Park League of Friends Grant Round
We are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for staff to apply for grant funding, thanks to a generous £204,000 donation from the Arrowe Park League of Friends, Arrowe Park Hospital, celebrating over 40 years of service at Arrowe Park Hospital.
To honour this milestone, we are looking to support 40 projects for 40 years and invite you to apply if your proposal aligns with the following criteria:
"To further improve the quality of WUTH’s patient care, including the purchase of medical equipment, improvements to hospital facilities, and initiatives that enhance the patient experience at Arrowe Park Hospital."
Funding is available exclusively for Arrowe Park Hospital to support:
✔️ The purchase of medical equipment
✔️ Improvements to hospital facilities
✔️ Initiatives that enhance patient experience

📅 3 – 31 March 2025 – Small Grants Round
Funding of up to £2,000 is available for projects across all WUTH services and sites.

Key Information for any Applicants
✅ Discuss your idea with your Line Manager and seek support from the Fundraising Manager or Charity Team if needed.
✅ Check WUTH procurement processes before applying, as certain purchases may have specific requirements. If unsure, speak to your Line Manager, Finance Business Partner, or Procurement Team.
✅ A single member of your Triumvirate must support your application – this will be verified upon submission.
✅ Applications will be reviewed by a Grant Panel, and we aim to provide a decision within one month of the grant round closing.
✅ Approved funds should ideally be spent within 3 months.
✅ Successful applicants must complete a Monitoring and Evaluation form and share updates on how the funding has made an impact through case studies and/or news stories.
