You can make a self referral to have your baby with Wirral Women and Children's Hospital. Please complete the form below. Alternatively you can call us on 0151 604 7777.

Following this, you will receive two appointments in the post:

A booking-in appointment with a midwife when you are 8 to 10 weeks pregnant
A first scan when you are 12 weeks pregnant

Please do not bring any children to your scan appointments. Only one adult partner is permitted to attend with you.

Folic Acid

We would recommend that you start taking folic acid supplements as soon as possible as this is essential for your baby's development.

Smoking

If you currently smoke, we have a team who can support you to stop. Protecting your baby from tobacco smoke is one of the best things you can do to give your child a healthy start in life. It can be difficult to stop smoking, but it's never too late to quit. Please indicate in the form below and a member of our smoking team will contact you.
