New research study into health problems caused by anaemia in pregnancy

If you are under 16 weeks pregnant, you could take part in a new research study at WUTH called PANDA.

‘PANDA is a research programme that aims to prevent anaemia in pregnancy to avoid health problems for women & their infants e.g. premature baby, low birth weight baby, headaches, dizziness using iron supplements during pregnancy’

All pregnant women/persons will continue to receive routine care and blood tests as standard.
