How we use your information
We are also a research-active trust and data may be processed for approved scientific research purposes. There is the possibility that your records may be looked at by a research nurse or research administrator, who is not involved in your direct care, so we can see if you are eligible to be invited to participate in approved research projects being run in the trust that may be relevant to you.
In most instances we will only use anonymised or pseudonymised data so that you cannot be identified. If this is not possible, we will ask for your consent to use your personal data and you have the right to ask us not to use it in this way. Please be assured if you do not want to take part in research this will not affect your care in any way.
