Wirral University Teaching Hospital Annual Members' Meeting
Members of the public and staff were invited to attend the Annual Members’ Meeting of Wirral University Teaching Hospital, at 5pm on Monday, 18th October 2021.
Over the past year, the Trust faced unprecedented challenges of the worsening pandemic as the number of cases began to rise again in December. Alongside this, in December, the Trust was established as one of the first Vaccination Hubs in the country, playing a key role in delivering vital vaccinations to frontline staff and the local community.
At the meeting, an overview of the past year, was presented, including discussion of the achievements of the Trust, important updates on major developments and future plans, plus there was a chance to ask questions of the Trust Board and senior team.
Owing to social distancing requirements and the ongoing restrictions to visitors to the hospital, this year’s meeting was held virtually online via Microsoft Teams, so the public could be part of the event from the comfort of their homes.
