Important Information: Ambulance Staff Industrial Action - 21 December 2022

It has been announced that ambulance service staff across the country will be taking industrial action on Wednesday 21 December 2022 from 12.00pm - 11.59pm. Ambulance services may also be affected on the following day. 

During these times, an ambulance may not be able to attend, or it may take longer to reach you than usual. Emergency calls will still be prioritised. Please see this information for help with finding the right treatment service for your needs.  The Emergency Department at Arrowe Park Hospital and the Urgent Treatment Centre will be open as usual.  There is also a Pharmacy onsite at Arrowe Park.

If you have a hospital appointment, please attend unless as normal unless we contact you to rearrange.
