North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) Industrial Action - 6th and 8th March 2023

The North West Ambulance Service staff will be taking industrial action on 6th and 8th March 2023 as follows:

• Monday, 6 March: Unite and GMB 24-hour strike; Unison action short of strike.
• Wednesday, 8 March: Unison strike (0900 – 2300); GMB action short of strike.

Ambulance services may also be affected on the following day.

During these times it may take longer to reach you than usual. Emergency calls will still be prioritised. Please see this information for help with finding the right treatment service for your needs. The Emergency Department at Arrowe Park Hospital and the Urgent Treatment Centre will be open as usual. There is also a Pharmacy onsite at Arrowe Park.
