Welcome to the Diabetes Specialist Dietitian Team!

Our team of registered dietitians specialises in providing nutritional care for patients with diabetes.

Our Services:

Our team comprises specialist dietitians who provided individualised nutritional care plans for patients with diabetes. We work with patients to help manage blood sugar levels, optimise nutritional intake, and improve overall health.

Inpatients:

We provide specialist care to acutely unwell patients on a range of wards at Arrowe Park Hospital.

Outpatients:

We offer one-to-one appointments face to face or via telephone to help patients manage their diabetes and improve their overall quality of life. We currently have established 6 adult diabetes clinics and three specialist clinics for gestational diabetes, pregnancy and diabetes and a young persons clinic. In addition, we also have a specialist clinic for patients with insulin pumps.

Our team works closely with other healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists and specialist nurses, to provide comprehensive care for our patients. Our goal is to help patients achieve optimal blood sugar control, prevent complications, and ultimately improve their overall health and well-being.
