Refreshment Facilities
Each of our sites has different refreshment facilities.
This includes cafes and restaurants as well as vending facilities where you can purchase light snacks, meals and drinks 24 hours a day.
Our restaurants at Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals offer clean, spacious, air conditioned and comfortable environments.
Menus are competitively priced and our speedy service enables you to eat well, even if you are short of time.
In addition to increasing the amount of food information and advice (on areas such as allergies), our restaurants offer a greater range of food to cater for cultural needs, for example Halal and Kosher.
The Retreat and Firtrees offer a wide range of healthy food options including a tempting salad bar, healthy option deals and themed menus.

The Retreat Restaurant, Arrowe Park Hospital
The Retreat Restaurant can be found in the basement level of Arrowe Park Hospital and is well signposted.
Opening times are as follows:
- Monday to Friday 7:30am to 11:30am. 12:00 noon to 5:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday 7:30am to 11:00am. 12:00 noon to 5:00pm
Firtrees Restaurant, Clatterbridge Hospital
Firtrees Restaurant is located near to the main reception and outpatients department of Clatterbridge Hospital.
Opening times are as follows:
- Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Closed bank holidays
Annabelle's Coffee Shop
Annabelle's Coffee Shop is located on the ground floor of Arrowe Park Hospital close to the main entrance.
Opening times are as follows:
- Monday to Friday 8:15am to 9:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday 11:00am to 9:00pm
