CWP provide integrated care in the community and within inpatient settings based on best practice and outcomes, working closely with the people who access their services and carers to provide person-centred care for all. Their services are developed and led by clinical staff.

Mental Health Support whilst in Hospital

Within Arrowe Park Hospital's A&E Department there have been recent changes to consider the impact of the environment when patients attend for medical treatment but who may also be struggling with mental health concerns.  

We also have a Mental Health Matron who is working closely with staff in A&E and across wards, to promote the importance of mental health care, to offer practical support and guidance and to embed good practice alongside our improvements to the environment.
