Inclusive Promise

"Listening to me and respecting me as an individual"

Are You Committed to Delivering Personalised Care?

At Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH), we recognise that every individual who walks through our doors has unique needs, preferences, and circumstances. That's why we have established the Inclusive Promise Group, a dedicated group focused on ensuring that each patient receives personalised care and attention.

If you share our commitment to respecting and valuing the individuality of every person, we invite you to join this dynamic group. Together, we can make a significant impact on the patient experience by fostering an environment that celebrates diversity and promotes a tailored approach to care.

The Inclusive Group:

This group is dedicated to promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and individualised care. We believe that by truly understanding and acknowledging each patient's unique needs, we can deliver a more compassionate and meaningful healthcare experience.

This group comprises patients, caregivers, WUTH staff from various levels and job titles, Healthwatch Wirral representatives, members from third-party sectors, as well as representatives from faith and spiritual communities.

Through collaborative efforts and open dialogue, the groups aims to:

  • Develop strategies to better understand and respond to the diverse needs of our patients
  • Foster an environment that celebrates and embraces individual differences
  • Promote practices that ensure patients feel valued, respected, and empowered
  • Continuously improve our ability to deliver personalised care and support

Your Feedback Matters

At WUTH, we value your input and believe that your feedback is the driving force behind our initiatives. Any comments or suggestions related to feeling respected, listened to or treated as an individual during your visit are carefully reviewed by the Inclusive Group. We identify trends and actively seek ways to enhance the overall experience for everyone.
