Attending your ID Check Appointment

 

The Recruitment Team are based: Clatterbridge Hospital, Elm House, 1st Floor Employment Services, Clatterbridge Road, Bebington, Wirral Merseyside, CH63 4JY

Please ensure you arrive at your allocated time slot - the team run back to back appointments meaning if you arriving before or after your time slot may result in you waiting longer than required or being turned away and asked to attend at your time slot or an alternative date. 

 

Finding your way - 

By Bus - 

There is a variety of bus services which operate from the surrounding areas and drop off at the hospital.

By Train - 

The closet train station to Clatterbridge Hospital is: Spital – 31 min walk, 1.5 miles

By Car/Driving -

The hospital is signposted from the M53.

 

Travelling south

Leave the M53 at Junction 4 and take the fourth exit off the roundabout onto the B5151.
Follow the B5151 until you reach the roundabout. Leave the roundabout at the second exit and onto the hospital site. Take the third exit and follow the road until you reach the hospital entrance on the left.

 

Travelling north

Leave the M53 at Junction 4 and take the first exit off the roundabout onto the B5151.
Follow the B5151 until you reach the roundabout. Leave the roundabout at the second exit and onto the hospital site. Take the third exit and follow the road until you reach the hospital entrance on the left.

 

Parking 

A new parking system will make parking more efficient for patients and visitors at Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH).

Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras will be placed on visitor and staff car parks at Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals on 1st July 2026.

Barriers to the car parks will be removed, easing entrance and access to the car parks. Visitor car parks will be clearly colour coded in blue and staff car parks in orange. For more information click here.
