An endoscopy is a medical procedure that involves the use of an instrument called an endoscope to examine the interior of the body. The endoscope is a flexible tube with a light and camera attached to it that can be inserted into the body through natural openings, such as the mouth, nose, or bottom. We also have ultrasound instruments that allow us to do an endoscopic ultrasound. Endoscopy procedures are commonly used to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
