Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a painless and harmless examination.

This type of scan uses a powerful magnetic field and radio-frequencies. An MRI scan does not use x-rays.

MRI allows us to view very detailed cross-sectional images of the body part being examined. This helps in the diagnosis and planning of any treatment.

Having an MRI is by appointment only. If you cannot attend your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible on 0151 604 7317.

We offer MRI 7 days a week and are open:

Monday to Friday. 7:30am to 7:00pm
Saturday. 7:30am to 7:30pm
Sunday. 8.00am to 7:00pm
