Getting here - Clatterbridge Hospital

The hospital is signposted from the M53.

A car parking fee is charged at £3.20 per visit. Accessible (blue badge) car parking is available on the Clatterbridge Hospital site however there are a limited number of spaces. 

There is a contactless card and applepay machine that is situated at Clatterbridge Hospital and this can be found inside the main entrance directly opposite the hospital.

Visitors are also advised that there is a 15 miles per hour speed restriction at Arrowe Park Hospital. In the interests of safety for our patients, visitors and staff all drivers are asked to please refrain from exceeding this limit.

Travelling south

Leave the M53 at Junction 4 and take the fourth exit off the roundabout onto the B5151.
Follow the B5151 until you reach the roundabout. Leave the roundabout at the second exit and onto the hospital site. Take the third exit and follow the road until you reach the hospital entrance on the left.

Travelling north

Leave the M53 at Junction 4 and take the first exit off the roundabout onto the B5151.
Follow the B5151 until you reach the roundabout. Leave the roundabout at the second exit and onto the hospital site. Take the third exit and follow the road until you reach the hospital entrance on the left.

Accessible (blue badge) Parking

Accessible parking is available but spaces are limited. Please note a blue badge must be displayed at all times in blue badge bays.

Pay Machines

A 'pay on foot' system is in operation with pay machines at the following locations:

• The main entrance to the hospital building (near reception)
• Outside ward M1, M Block
• Car Park C
• Car Park J

Patients on certain state benefits can get charges reimbursed under the Hospital Travel Costs Scheme.

Inconsiderate Parking

Parking notices are issued at Clatterbridge and Arrowe Park Hospitals to control inconsiderate and potentially hazardous parking.  Any vehicle (including blue badge holders) that are parked in non-designated areas will be issued with a parking charge notice for the sum of £70.
