Screening programmes
Screening programmes are set up as a way of identifying people who appear healthy but may be at increased risk of a disease or condition.
Identifying individuals through this process can determine whether they have the condition screened for. The affected person may then require further tests to establish how far along the condition is and whether other medical intervention is necessary.
During each stage of the screening process, people can make their own choices about further:
- tests
- treatment
- advice
- support
At WUTH we provide the following screening programmes. Please click on a heading to find out more.
