Medication

  • Continue to take your regular medications with a sip of water unless specifically told not to.
  • If you are diabetic or taking anti-coagulants (blood thinners) you will receive additional information about these. Information is available on the document at the foot of this page.
  • Please bring any medication you are currently taking with you on the day in its original box. The hospital staff will take these from you and may use them during your stay. They will be returned to you on discharge if they are still required along with any medication you need to take home.
  • If you have any questions regarding your medication please phone the SEAL Unit on 0151 604 7143.
